What if I buy a ticket to a ticketed dinner event and can’t make it?

All of our ticketed dinners are non-refundable. You are welcome to give your ticket to anyone. In some cases, we may be able to refund you if the event has a waitlist. If Windward has to cancel the event for some reason, you will be issued a full refund.

What if I buy a ticket to a multi day trip and can’t make it?

Your 50% deposit is always non-refundable. You trip remainder is 100% refundable

What is the travel fee for on my invoice?

We offer free travel of all our events if you’re within 20 miles of Seattle, WA! We know (and hope) that you’ll be traveling ‘out of bounds’, so our fee is $0.70 per additional mile to cover our fees. We also add ferry fees, bridge fees, and any other fees associated with arriving to your event site. If your itinerary is a trip quite far from Seattle, final travel fees will be a part of your negotiated quote.

How do I secure my event dates?

Email info@windwardadventures.com or text/call (206) 687-6230. Once we initially connect an invoice will be sent through Square and we’ll ask for a 30% non-refundable deposit. The remaining fee will be collected 14 days from your event date.

What if it rains?!

At Windward Adventures we monitor the weather forecast and predictions daily. Unfortunately scientifically accurate forecasting is only reliable two days out. Our team will contact you if bad weather is imminent so you can choose between an alternate location, rescheduling for another date. We are here to work with you as we navigate the charming complexities of Pacific Northwest weather.

I have dietary restrictions, what can I expect?

You can expect to eat well, my friend! We understand that outdoor enthusiasts need to have strict diets from time to time. Please send us all the details of your needs and we will try our best to accommodate you. Vegetarian? Pescatarian? Paleo? Easy. Peasy. Our mission is to be a cheerleader for your outdoor goals. Don’t hesitate to ask, we are excited to cook for you.

I own an adventure guide service and am curious what Windward Adventures can do for us.

As always, we will tailor meals to your needs, but here are some examples of what we can do.

Meal kits are a great choice if you’re taking people on day trips. They will easily fit into day packs, cooler compartments, or dry bags. We can pack as many meals as you need. The Windward Adventures meal kit packaging is plastic free, lightweight, and durable.

We can also offer catered meals for your large format, base camp training programs, seminars, and classes. Our rustic buffets utilize seasonal ingredients purchased from local farms. Our menus are celebrations and snippets of what nature is offering and a perfect ideological extention to your company and its outdoor goals.
