Camp Muir Caviar Climb August 11th-13th

This trip is centered around a day hike up to Camp Muir following the infamous snow field trail. This 8.4-mile out-and-back trail near Paradise Inn, Washington, is generally considered a challenging route and takes an average of 7 h 18 min to complete. This is a very popular area for backpacking, camping, and hiking, so we’ll encounter other people while exploring.
This hike is often considered a bucket list hike and we have created a weekend focused on celebrating your Camp Muir ascent. This weekend is designed by folks experienced with this trail, so we know what it takes and the comforts needed to support the ascent.
Lodging, all meals, transportation and experienced guides are all included for this weekend.
*PLEASE NOTE*: This trip has certain requirements to attend as the trail requires peak fitness. The hike ascends 1000 ft per mile and also due to it being above the cloud line, can sometimes cause altitude symptoms.

2023 TRIP ITINERARY
Friday -
Arrive at the Lodge in Ashford, WA anytime between 5pm and 7pm to check into your room and enjoy our Welcome Happy Hour.
Dinner will begin around 7:30pm. During the meal, you’ll also meet with your guides and climbing team to discuss the ascent.
Saturday -
- Awake for coffee and breakfast (or take it on the road). Leave the lodge at 8am.
- Arrive to Paradise parking at 9am and start for the trail.
- Break for lunch at the guides discretion
- 1-2pm arrival at Camp Muir. Celebrate with beverages, photos, and caviar at 10,000ft. Enjoy looking at the peaks above the clouds.
- Start descent down the snowfield.
- 5-6pm arrive back to Paradise parking.
- 7:00pm arrive back to lodging. Showers and a wood-fired feast will be waiting for you.
- Relax the rest of the evening. Play games. Star gaze. Roast marshmallows.
Sunday -
Enjoy a slow and easy morning filled with coffee and decadent breakfast. Move at your own pace.
