2023 Trip Itinerary
Friday (arrive between 5-7pm) -
Move into your rainproof tent complete with cot and lantern. Enjoy the grounds and convene for a welcome happy hour followed by a fire roasted group dinner.
Saturday -
Coffee and breakfast served prior to being picked up by our Olympic Hiking Co. guide who will lead a guided hike around the Hoh Rainforest. We’ll explore the Hall of Mosses and Spruce Nature Loop. During the hike, our guide will overview the incredible biodiversity of moss, lichens, and vegetation with the Hall of Mosses, overview the natural history of the ancient rain forest, and ecological impact of the glacier-fed Hoh River. If we’re lucky enough, we may even encounter the impressive Roosevelt Elk Herd that are usually in packs of 20-30 elk.
After the Hoh Rainforest Tour, our guide will take us down to Ruby Beach for an hour of tide pooling.
The day will be full of good food and will conclude with a gourmet Windward meal.
Sunday -
We’ll share breakfast together before following the trail down to the beach. Enjoy the coastline for as long as you’d like while our team breaks down camp.
