Allow me to introduce you to one of the most incredible projects in the Seattle area. The Heron’s Nest Landback Project was started in 2020 with the goal of healing land that was a longtime dumping ground and returning it to the area’s First People.
Sitting above the Duwamish River, The Heron’s Nest is the first ever repatriation attempt with respect to the Duwamish Tribe. The Duwamish people have been in what is now Seattle for at least thousands of years, however the federal government does not recognize the Duwamish as a tribal entity. Join us for an elaborate fall dinner in The Heron’s Nest greenhouse. We’ll celebrate the change in seasons with our signature menu of smokey open fire food, local vegetables, and delicious beverages. A portion of your ticket price will be donated to this incredible organization.
Join us for a rustic menu inspired by our favorite recipes from the French countryside, the Italian alps and the ski slopes of Austria.

Roasted duck in au jus with roasted garlic, sage and red currant jelly
and/or
Rotisserie chicken in vin jaune style sauce with fall mushrooms
Smoked trout with buckwheat blini, dill and creme fraiche
Leeks vinaigrette with mirepoix, whole grain mustard and chervil
Slow grilled squash with marble potatoes, pearl onion and smoked butter
Clam frites
Greens with tarragon dijon dressing and hazelnuts
Two glasses of wine are included with dinner with additional curated french flights available for purchase on site.
